I noticed that when a ragdoll get 120 or so units away from 0,0,0 you can no longer pick the object and drag it around.
I haven't figure out why just yet, but that was an unpleasent surprise and can really limit your level size.
Any ideas on how to fix it? -- TAZ

it may come from the newton world size maybe ? i also noticed that in the demos when you drag a ragdol and fast rotate it with the mouse , it goes berserk and flie around , turning into tic tac .... really unrealistic

yup. raycast doesn't work outside the NewtonWorld limits. set the world larger and the problem will go away

Yup, that fixed it. What caught me by surprise was that +/- 100 is the default world size. So, there was no NDB_NewtonSetWorldSize in the demo that would have alerted me to the limit. Live and learn.
As to the going beserk problem, try linear and angular dampening. They can be a life saver in that they help prevent run-aways like that. That's how I fixed some of my problems with Ice Snake. -- TAZ
