TipIf you want to include the Newton.dll file inside your .exe, you can use an excellent tool made by The_Winch, called "DBPro EXE Tool"Just make sure you place the Newton.dll file somewhere in the middle of the list (not at the bottom), and it works great!

the next version of the wrapper will have the Newton.dll built in, so you won't need to include it in your projects any more. I'll remove this thread after the release.

zircher: thanks, sorry i tock soi long to email you but i do 12hr 7 days weeks at work and pretty tired when i get home!! on the up i get 3 to 4 days off depend on which week I've just done. walaber : how do you get newton commands to work when you are programing in darkbasic pro and exe the program file to test it. Sorry to be a bother but as i said, tired at mo and until thurs next week (four days off, wahoo ) very little real time to program. Nights are best as plent of time to do all my design work on paper.

um, just write the program like normal, and then compile it from the editor to make an .exe file... check the readme to make sure you've installed newton properly.

Wahooo, Final figured what i was doing wrong AS i suspect, it was something simple and putting the newton dll in the wrong place, duhh me!! The good part is i now have newton and all three expansion packs working okay ;D I can now get on with programing, thanks again!!
